CELTS NOW 5/4

November 10th 2007

After the win over Benfica in midweek Celtic are now a best priced 5/4 with Betdirect to qualify from Champions League Group D.

AC Milan are 1/100 to get through, Shakhtar Donetsk are 4/5 with Benfica the outsiders at 16/1.

The Celts may be third favourites to qualify but they are second favourites to actually win the group at 10/1 with Ladbrokes.

Shakhtar are 25/1 with Extrabet and Benfica are 300/1 with Paddy Power.

Last weekend I had only two winners from four, Celtic and Chelsea while Leeds and Hamilton who don't usually lose were both beatean after having taken the lead.

Leeds made amends on Tuesday with an away win at Bournemouth and are not in action today as they played in an FA Cup tie last night at Hereford where they drew 0-0 (I never bet on tricky FA Cup ties).

Hamilton are at home to Partick Thistle today and should win, 8/13 Skybet.

Slightly risky is Ross County to win at Airdrie but the 13/8 on offer with Bet365 is much better than the 11/8 on offer with most of the others.

Watford at 1/2 with Totesport should beat Colchester.

Regular winners Chelsea and Man Utd face Everton and Blackburn respectively but at 2/5 they are not value for money as both these games could easily end in draws.
