McDONALD A WORRY FOR
CELTS
December 8th 2007 You would not expect St Mirren to pose a threat to a team in the last sixteen of the Champions League so I can't see anything other than a Celtic victory today. Their away record is much better than their home record though so it may not be as easy as it was when the Celts destroyed them 5-1 at Love Street. Celtic are unbackable at 1/7 but in the handicap list they are 6/4 to win by more than two goals with Stan James or 4/9 with Bluesquare to win by more than one goal. Scott McDonald faces a late fitness test but Bet365 offer strikers Vennegoor of Hesselink and/or McDonald at 3/1 to score two or more goals and 14/1 to score three or more. Last week's moneymaking bets all won plus the bonus of a midweek win by Leeds over Port Vale. This week it's Hamilton 11/10 (Coral) to win at Livingston, Raith 1/2 (Bluesquare) at home to Brechin, East Fife 4/9 (Ladbrokes) to win at Forfar and Leeds 1/2 (Paddy Power) at home to Huddersfield. Arsenal should also win at Middlesbrough on Sunday at 4/7 (Skybet). Prices do change so shop around before placing a bet. Since writing the above Leeds have drifted to 8/13 and Raith have gone out to 8/15.
