TOUGH TASK AHEAD
December 15th 2007 Celtic always get a tough game at Inverness and I would expect this one to be no different. The last six visits to the Highlands has produced four wins and two draws but the home side has scored on five occasions. The Bhoys have won 2-1, 2-1, 2-0 and 3-1 and there has been two 1-1 draws so I would expect Celtic to have to score more than once to win the game. The Celts are 1/2 with Bet365 to win the match which isn't particularly good value considering how tough these games always are but they are 2/5 and 1/3 with others. Celtic to win 2-1 is a best priced 8/1 with Stan James, to win 3-1 is 11/1 with Bluesquare and a 1-1 draw is 8/1 with Extrabet. Aiden McGeady is the man on form and he's 10/1 with Bluesquare to score the first goal but Scott McDonald has been first scorer on seven occasions this season and is rated a 4/1 chance with Coral to do it again. There are some tricky matches this weekend but the rewards are greater so I'm going for Leeds to win away at Walsall (6/5 with Skybet) and Hamilton to win at home to St Johnstone (evens with Bet365). Hamilton have lost two of their last three and earlier in the season were beaten 4-1 by St Johnstone so it is a bit of a risk and I will be waiting for the price to drift. Dundee could win at Morton (6/5 with Coral) and Raith could win at Ayr (21/20 with William Hill). Remember, prices change so look out for better odds later in the day. |
