PATHETIC PLAYERS NEED TO
GET A GRIP
December 28th 2007 I am getting fed up with how more and more players are dropping like flies as soon as they receive the slightest touch to their face. You see it in almost every game now and one I noticed the other day in a Premiership game in England came about when a player genuinely went for the ball but his fingers accidentally caught his opponent on the side of the face and he went down as if he was Peter Lovenkrands, holding his face and rolling about for a good two or three minutes. Now this guy was caught slightly but was it enough to knock him to the ground and keep him there for a good three minutes? What it is is plain and simple cheating, similar to those who take a dive looking for a penalty or to get a man red carded. These pathetic chancers should be yellow carded, even if they have been caught in the face it doesn't take away the power from their legs. How is it that the likes of Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather can batter each other in the face for twelve rounds yet stay on their feet but it seems a footballer only needs a fart to float in his direction to send him tumbling to the ground in agony, pathetic. Has anyone noticed it's often the woolly glove wearers who are the worst?
