ROBBO AND NAKA, IS IT
APRIL 1ST OR JANUARY 4TH?
January 4th 2008 Having worked in Inverness-shire for a wee while I know the guys up there like a dram or two but I never thought Charlie Christie was the type of bloke to indulge in those type of activities. However after coming out with a statement like Barry Robson is better than Shunsuke Nakamura it does make me wonder just what has been going on. According to the Daily Record the former Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Celtic man says although Nakamura is a very special talent Robson is a more complete player. Christie says Robson's work-rate has improved and he is more than just someone with a lethal left foot. I'm not sure if Charlie is insinuating that Naka's work-rate is not up to scratch but if he is then he is well wide of the mark. Naka covers as much ground as anyone in the Celtic side during a game and probably more than most. The former Inverness CT manager goes on to say that he would like to see Robson get his chance at Celtic because he deserves that kind of platform.
