SAMARAS KEEN ON CELTIC
MOVE
January 29th 2008 Manchester City striker Georgios Samaras is hoping a move to Celtic will help get him to Euro 2008. The Greek striker who has also been linked with Rangers has said playing football is the most important thing, not the league he plays it in. James Traynor of the Daily Record believes City have agreed a fee of £2.5m for the player and he's expected in Glasgow to agree personal terms. The 22 year old has been out of the picture at City and needs to be playing football to have any chance of making the Euro 2008 tournament in Austria and Switzerland. |
