CELTIC MATCH IN DOUBT

January 30th

Tonight's match against Motherwell at Fir Park could be cancelled for a second time if the weather forecast for tonight is correct.

The forecast for today is for rain in the Motherwell area but by late afternoon and early evening it's to become heavy rain.

The Motherwell website reported that after heavy rain yesterday doubt would be cast over the match going ahead if the rain persisted overnight.

Last Saturday's match against Inverness CT at Fir Park was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch and conditions have barely improved since.

Tonight's fixture was rearranged from January 6th after being cancelled due to the death of Phil O'Donnell.

You can keep an eye on the weather in that area on the live web-cam but a pitch inspection is planned for 3pm.
