IT'S CELTIC FOR ME

February 23rd 2008

Celtic travel to Paisley tomorrow to take on St Mirren after their midweek defeat at home to Barcelona and they will be expected to pick up the three points no matter how much their Champions League exertions have taken out of them.

The Celts are a best priced 2/5 with expekt.com (1/4 elsewhere) and I can't see anything other than a win for the Bhoys.

A 2-1 Celtic win is 8/1 with Betdirect while Bluesquare offer 50/1 for a 5-1 and 40/1 for a 5-0 scoreline in favour of the Celts.  Others are offering around half those odds.

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is on a hot streak and Betdirect go 5/1 for first scorer, Scott McDonald is widely available at 4/1.

Barry Robson is 9/1 with VC Bet.

It was almost a clean sweep again with last week's bets with three out of four, Dunfermline being the team not to win but they were leading until losing a late goal after having a man sent off.

This week, Celtic to win at St Mirren (2/5 expekt.com), Ross County at home to Queens Park (4/11 Ladbrokes).

Slightly more risky but teams in good form are St Johnstone at Morton (10/11 Ladbrokes), Queen of The South at Partick Thistle (7/5 Extrabet), Dunfermline at Clyde (11/8 Ladbrokes) and Brechin at Ayr (13/10 Betfair).
