RANGERS FANS BROWNING
THEIR DRAWERS
April 18th 2008 It would appear that Rangers fans are shitting their pants in case their team blows the SPL title. The Rangers Supporters Trust wants the last Old Firm game played behind closed doors after their club doctor was hit by a coin thrown from the section occupied by Celtic fans. They claim Celtic can't guarantee the safety of the players - which is of course correct as there is no football club in the world who can guarantee the safety of players. I don't recall the RST calling for games at Ibrox to be played behind closed doors after Stan Petrov was hit square on the face with a container filled with Coke or after a spectator ran on to the pitch and tried to handcuff himself to the goalpost last season. No, it appears to be that they are starting to panic a bit and even their manager was quoted as saying whether Rangers win the title or not will depend on when the SPL makes his team play their games, how pathetic is that by the way? If Rangers don't win the title it seems it will be the fault of the SPL and also the stewards at Celtic Park - and they call us paranoid.
