MAN UNITED FANS TO BE
DENIED PARADE
May 16th 2008 Manchester United's homecoming parade has been scrapped after the rioting by Glasgow Rangers fans in Manchester on Wednesday night. The club were to have a homecoming parade through the streets of the city on their return from the Champions League Final in Moscow next week - win or lose but those plans have now been ditched. Images of rioting Rangers fans were beamed all around the world after their team lost in the UEFA Cup Final to Russian side Zenit St Petersburg. |
