THREE IN A ROW
May 23rd 2008 Celtic wrapped up their third consecutive SPL title with a 1-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice last night while rivals Rangers lost 2-0 at Aberdeen. A goal from Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink was enough to see off a Dundee United side who had carved out several good chances prior to the goal. The Celtic fans were in raptures when news of Aberdeen's goals filtered through and it became clear the Celts would be champions long before the final whistle. The Aberdeen fans taunted the Rangers support throughout the game and it all became too much for Gers' substitute Nacho Novo who was shown a red card for a nasty challenge on Duff. The snarling Kung Fu dwarf was at his badge kissing best as he was ordered off and he appeared to be letting the Rangers fans know he was proud to be getting the red card, he now misses the Scottish Cup Final tomorrow.
