CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TICKETS
ON GENERAL SALE FROM TODAY
September 8th 2008 Tickets for Celtic's Champions League campaign go on general sale today from 9am at the Celtic Park ticket office counter and by telephone from 11am. Supporters will have to buy a three match package for the games against Aalborg, Villarreal and Manchester United and although no prices have been confirmed yet by Celtic, it will be almost certainly be over £100. Last week, season ticket holders who phoned up for their tickets complained of being cut off and of lengthy waits and many ended up just giving up and going to the ticket office to queue with thousands of others. The club eventually extended the deadline for season ticket holders by four days to Saturday September 6th. It is not known at this stage whether there will be a sale of tickets for individual matches, it will depend on how many three match packages are taken up. |
