GIRLY HAUNS AND DOCTOR
JO, CELTS ON COURSE FOR FOUR IN A ROW
November 13th 2008 The Celts produced yet another impressive performance last night to beat Kilmarnock by three goals to nil. It's quite incredible how they are keeping it going despite all the injuries and really, the 3-0 scoreline flattered the visitors. Celtic had countless chances in the first half but Cillian Sheridan was the scorer of the only goal, beating the 'keeper in a one-on-one situation. The Paradise windfall half-time draw was made by the man who brought us Lubo Moravcik and a 5-1 win over Rangers, Dr Joseph Venglos. The first twenty-five minutes of the second half was rather forgettable, in fact one of our group actually managed to fall asleep for a good ten minutes but just as everyone was starting to get a bit edgy, Sheridan added a second and the game was won. Shunsuke Nakamura who hadn't been at his best rounded off the scoring with a superb third goal. On one of the mildest November nights in memory, Massimo Donati was the only man on the park wearing a pair of wooly gloves. He was voted the sponsor's man of the match which I thought could have gone to Wilson or Sheridan although Donati didn't have a bad game despite his girly hauns. It was a good night all round, no more injuries and Rangers only managing a 0-0 draw at Motherwell and falling four points behind the Champions. There were several ejections from the stadium once again, I can't understand why people continue to smoke inside the ground when they know the consequences.
