WIN LOSE OR DRAW - SACK
THE BOARD, MANAGER ETC
January 19th 2009 We don't care if we win lose or draw is what the song says but it's obvious many of the Celtic fans who sing those words are fibbing slightly. After any Celtic defeat (and sometimes even wins and draws) there are calls for the manager/board/groundsman/ticket office staff to be sacked and certain players to be shown the door and yesterday was no different after the 4-2 defeat at Aberdeen. Personally, I though it was a great game and that the Celts played quite well although they were not so clever defensively, but we want to be entertained and entertainment is what we got yesterday. I thought Aiden McGeady had his best game since he was at Aberdeen around this time last year, if it takes a fall-out with the manager to make him play like that then he should maybe try it more often. Scott Brown was excellent again as well and although four goals were conceded I wouldn't say goalkeeper Mark Brown was to blame for any of them. On another day Aberdeen would have missed at least a couple of those chances that they scored with or our defenders would have dealt with them but yesterday was just one of those days for the Bhoys and you just have to accept that it happens from time to time. I don't see any reason to panic even though our lead at the top has been cut to two points.
