A COUPLE OF FLAKES OF
SNAW IN LONDON AND THE WORLD STOPS
February 2nd 2009 The English Premier League are in talks with the FA and FIFA over extending the transfer window for some deals because there has been snaw in London! Bad weather in winter, who would have forecast that? As far as Celtic fans are concerned it looks as if the window could be extended until June and we would still be waiting to sign somebody. The names mentioned so far don't exactly have us shaking with excitement and only Steven Fletcher can be considered a capture if that deal comes off - which I very much doubt. Rangers are apparently just hoping nobody wants any of their players but I have a sneaky feeling they might have something lined up. It looks like the Celts are content to save up their Champions League profits for a rainy day but failure to part with cash now could cost them the title. Roll on the deadline.
