CELTS MUST UPSET FORM BOOK TO RETAIN TITLE

May 15th 2009

Celtic must upset the form book if they are to become SPL Champions for a fourth successive year, in my opinion at least.

Easter Road beckons on Sunday and the form of The Bhoys has not been great there in recent times.

Only two wins from the last six visits to Leith or if you like, only one win in the last five - one win, three defeats and one draw.

We have been given a second chance and the players must realise they simply have to take it, only a win will be good enough on Sunday, anything less just won't do.

Celtic have a two goal advantage in goal difference over Rangers and have scored more goals too so if both teams win their last two games Rangers must better Celtic's two-game tally by three goals to be Champions.

It would not surprise me if Rangers blasted four or five past Aberdeen tomorrow since the Dons' record at Ibrox is pretty woeful, their last win coming in season 1991/92.

Rangers have bagged eleven goals in their last four at home to Aberdeen and knowing that they need goals I expect them to get some.

The Celts will know what's required by the time they kick off on Sunday and that the next two games decides the destination of the SPL title, let's make sure it stays where it belongs Celtic.
